Future Visions: Downtown

Downtown is the obvious start of the proposed system. It is a hub for the people and transportation of the city, and its identity has to appeal to all the different audiences. Keeping the proposed route the same, we wanted to provide a vision that pushed the experience of regular riders and tourists alike. A lit navigation system emphasizes the key interests at stops and large glass windows increase visibility to see the sites and to better identify where to get off. A future station would serve as a hub for all transit stemming from downtown, and to connect users with interesting events and sites that they could visit after work or on the weekend.

Cincinnati sometimes has a reputation for having a lot of hidden gems, but a good transit system can inform you of those interests and take you on you first step to experiencing them.
